The story begins on a quiet morning at Beaver Lake in 2023 when I was strumming some guitar chords, trying to find inspiration for a new song. Nothing seemed to fit, and the ideas just wouldn’t come together. Then Wes walked by, humming softly. Suddenly, he started singing a melody and some lyrics that felt like a game of cosmic tag with the Lord of heaven and earth. It was as if the song was already inside him, waiting to be shared.

The production process was collaborative and exciting, and began with Pete on guitar almost a year later at the very place the first seeds of the song were sown! Wes and I sang the song together, blending our voices to bring out the heartfelt spirit of the piece. Smith&Kirwan’s expertise ensured that the song felt polished without losing its raw, authentic charm.
