“Patiently” is out today, and it couldn’t be any more special!

This song was written by a 17-year-old singer named Zaylee, a 16-year-old guitarist named Nic, and our 10-year-old, Wes. They didn’t just help a little, but meaningfully shaped the melody and lyrics of the whole song. After tracking it together, I mixed it, and Daniel Smith mastered it.
Here are a few shots from our day of recording:
You can stream "Patiently" everywhere... here's a link that'll link you to your preferred streaming service, like YouTube, Apple, Spotify, etc.
What you’re hearing is the sound of young voices who aren’t just the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.
If you want to hear more songs like this come to life, you can help make that happen by:
Sharing this track far and wide.
Adding it to your daily listening playlists.
Supporting the work by buying prints, commissioning an original painting from me, or picking up just about anything from our shop (this directly helps fund tracking, mixing, and mastering as those costs arise).
Simply encouraging and championing young artists when you see God moving in them.
This is the second "Next Gen" track (The first is "Hide & Seek"), and we hope to release more of these this year! Unrelated to this series, keep an eye out for two more songs dropping in 2 weeks: check this link to Spotify pre-save and peep the cover art.
Thank you for listening, for sharing, and for believing in the next generation!
Patiently (CCLI#7273674) Zaylee Lindsey, Nic Funderburk, Wesley Assad, Peter Assad
